Vermont is "the epicenter of the Gravel Universe" and there is no shortage of radical kick-ass events. Check out our Events Page for more info about all the best gravel rides and races in Vermont. Browse the official Vermont Gravel Events Map and get a birds eye view of what's going on in the state.

Vermont's Group Rides

Group rides serve as the backbone to the cycling industry. These rides are where beginners get into cycling, and elite riders connect with their local cycling community. All these rides are open to the public, and we encourage you to check them out. Before doing so, contact the ride leader or study the ride website to get more information. On the map, gravel/road rides display as yellow bikes and MTB rides show as brown mountains. Click on each ride to view its info.

Vermont's Bike Shops

Vermont has no shortage of beautiful bike shops. Check out our official Vermont Bike Shop Map. The shops are color-coded from red to blue. Red means that it's a high-end shop and they specialize in gravel riding, blue means that it's a full-service traditional bike shop. There may be more, but the ones on this map are worthy of checking out.

Kingdom Cycling Experiences

Tours for every skill level & ability level.

The key to having a great cycling experience lies in having it catered specifically to your skill and ability level. Our tours and instruction are designed for beginners to advanced cyclists and everyone in-between, but the goal remains the same: creating positive experiences through cycling.

In short, we want these experiences to be all about you. Our passion is making people happy. It’s that simple.

Gravel Tours

At Gravel Tours our mission is to provide adventurous cyclists looking to expand their love for riding with the expert guidance and knowledge of Vermont's quiet, less traveled roads and trails.

Gravel Tours is a complete, special guide service for 1 to 10 clients, keeping a very personal experience that can't be compared.  If you are a veteran road cyclist looking to dip your feet in the challenge of climbing and descending the steep and varied dirt roads, we know the best routes.  Simply taking a "stab" at navigating some of the more remote, class IV roads and town trails on your own can have you riding into someones yard or face-to-face with an unfriendly dog.

King of the Ride Podcast

Ted's podcast captures the essence of riding for fun. He interviews successful event promoters, business owners and athletes. It's a great source of inspiration to get you out the door.

Vermont Overland's VOLOG

Peter and Ansel travel around Vermont and capture it through video. Their vlog teaches you new things, makes you laugh and inspires you to do more things atop your gravel bikes.

The Gravel Ride Podcast

The Gravel Ride is a cycling podcast where we discuss the people, places and products that define modern gravel cycling. We will be interviewing athletes, course designers and product designers who are influencing the sport. We will be providing information on where to ride, what to ride and how to stay stoked on gravel riding.

Roads Less Traveled

This high-production short video series was produced by Vermont Overland and filmed by New Atlas. Their goal was to inspire you to go out and have an adventure. Watch this series and you’ll find yourself doing just that and more.
