TourXNewEngland is a 6-day test of physical fitness, bicycle prowess, and adventure through some of the most beautiful and iconic parts of New England. The 2019 tour will start on July 3, 2019, in the Litchfield County Hills of Connecticut and finishing just south of the Canadian border in Vermont on July 9, 2019.
Vermont Forest Fondo has figured out the key to making a great event. For most people, the vibe before and after the ride, with good food, drinks, and new friends, is as important—if not more important—than the ride itself.
“The whole ride was entertaining and very painful at the same time. I will for sure be back next year.”
“Camp out, socialize, ride our awesome gravel courses all day, eat delicious farm/table food, drink locally-brewed craft beer and cider, socialize some more, sleep listening the gurgle of the Mill Brook, rinse and repeat. GRAVELFEST is a northeast gravel cycling bucket list item. You won't want to miss it.”
The Vermont Gravel Camp will challenge you physically and mentally, all while experiencing a great dose of adventure and excitement! Athletes at the 2018 Vermont Gravel Camp did 16,000 feet of climbing, over 14 hours of cycling - in three days!
Proceeds from this event will support the Davis Phinney Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to help people with Parkinson's live well with the disease.
Built for smashing out big miles on the roughest of gravel roads, Topstone’s confident rider position, nimble handling and grippy high-volume tires make it an ideal weekend tourer, an all-weather commuter, or simply a supremely comfortable all-around road bike.
Strange and wonderful things can happen when a World Tour cyclist chooses to live in a tiny town in Vermont.
